Quilt finishing (edge treatments)
During the June 2021 monthly meeting, Ben Millett shared different techniques to finish quilts. These are links shared during that meeting.
“Raw” Edge
Serendipity - use an Overcast foot and stitch
And Sew It Goes - attach Perle cotton, trim, and use zigzag with the default stitch settings
Canvas mount
Pine Needles - extend the background fabric by 3” on each side, wrap around the frame and staple
